Warning, they are erasable because the friction (frixion, lol) heats the ink causing it to turn clear. So be careful not to leave your journal in your car or another hot place or you might just lose all your notes.

If you want to go full weeb, the Pilot Frixion is amazing. It writes really well and can be erased without destroying the paper or just smearing. There are also some Frixion highlighters that also work well.
