I share a monitor between my pc and ps4. I can't say I notice a big difference. I'll share the one I bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07FKDQH5V?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Edit: realized they changed the price and they don't have it new. I'd recommend something different.

Thanks, I have just tried this, and once filtered down by 27" / 1440p / 144hz / IPS / Freesync I am left with 9 results.

5 of these are seemingly discontinued and cannot be found available to buy online anywhere.

What I am left with are the following:

  • Acer XF270HU - This is a tricky one, as there are 2 versions of it with the same name, one is TS (XF270HU Cbmiiprzx) and one is IPS (XF270HU Abmiidprzx). IPS version not available in Canada, but could order from Amazon.com for $725 CAD.

  • Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD - This one actually shows up on review sites such as TFTCentral and RTINGS and is quite highly rated. Not a fan of the gamer RGB tack all over it. Can be found for $800 CAD from Newegg.ca

  • Nixeus NX-EDG27 - Never heard of the brand, would need to do more research on it. Not available in Canada, but could order from Amazon.com for $790 CAD.

  • Pixio PX276 - Hard to find, possibly discontinued. Can only find the PX276h on Amazon.com for $432 CAD, but won't even ship to Canada :( Suspiciously cheaper than the others too. EDIT: turns out this is a TN panel, not IPS

Personally I am leaning more towards the Acer as its style is a bit more subtle and a bit cheaper than the other two.

At least its progress of some sort, it just surprising to have to scour the land so hard just to find something decent and probably end up ordering from the U.S. and just sucking up the currency conversion premium.
