Probably neither of them. They both have terrible stands (edit: the xv272u's stand is actually not terrible) and don't seem to offer anything special. Those Acer cheapskates don't even give you more than a HDMI cable to connect with.
The Pixio PX-7 Prime and the LG 27GL83A are slightly more expensive. But I think they are both better choices. The upgrade to the stand is worth it, unless you already have a VESA mount.
The pixio has the same wide gamut as the acer models and will handle motion at least as well - probably better.
The LG will give you better motion handling for gaming - the best of any current IPS monitor.

Have you considered the Pixio PX7 Prime? https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-FreeSync-Certified-Ultimate-Compatible/dp/B07WGXXV55/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=pixio+px7+prime&qid=1572515569&sr=8-2
It's what I am looking at picking up when I have extra money. 27" 1440p, 165hz IPS, FreeSync/Gsync compatible, uses the same panel as the more expensive Gigabyte Aorus, has a nice height, tilt, swivel stand with no "gamer" aesthetic. Has decent color, contrast, and brightness. I've done a lot of research and for under $400 it seems like the best bet. Cheaper than the LG, and the benefits of an IPS over the TNs you listed.
Hardware Unboxed does a good review of it on YouTube.
Can take off $21.50 with the clip coupon on Amazon to bring the total to $408.49 for those who care
It just came out on AmazonUK yesterday. Depending on where you are the other Amazons might have it in stock too.

This monitor actually uses the M270KCJ-K7B panel, which is the exact same one as the Aorus AD27QD and the Pixio PX7 Prime
I just picked up a pair of the Pixio PX7 Prime -- $430 USD
My basis for comparison is an almost-decade-old 1080p 60hz IPS, but I've been real happy with these so far.
I also have the PX7 and love its 10bit colors IPS. IMO, the difference in the response time between TN vs IPS isn't noticeable at all. Even if it was, the trade-off in picture quality is well worth it. The vast majority of people prefer IPS over TN's response time. Most people don't even notice the difference between 4ms and 1ms. I will never, ever go back to TN panels after having used a nice IPS panel. FYI, check out amazon customer reviews.
If you're not watching movies or doing any color sensitive work I'd recommend this. Viewing angles aren't a big deal since you aren't moving around. [A high refresh rate TN would not be a bad choice here such as this Dell.] (https://www.amazon.com/Dell-27-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitor-S2719DGF/dp/B00N2L5CXO) Some color calibration and this is a solid monitor.
If you'd rather have an IPS, I've heard some decent things about this monitor.
I'd pick 27" 1440p 10bit colors IPS 165Hz, Aorus AD27QD, FI27Q, Pixio PX7 Prime, or LG 27GL850. I bought Pixio PX7 Prime. It's cheaper than LG 27GL850's and beats the LG's contrast ratio 1035:1 compared to 762:1 which is very noticeable for black scenes. Aorus AD27QD and FI27Q are also great monitors but they were over my budget. I don't regret my decision at all. Came in with no dead pixels and no BLB. honestly IPS glow is not really noticeable. I settled the same setting as Hardware Unboxed review. (at 7:15) so far no complaints at all and very happy with it.
This is probably your best option if it can be delivered to where you live :
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Display-FreeSync-Certified-Ultimate-eSports/dp/B07WGXXV55/ref=sr_1_7?crid=PM1ARPFA9JEB&keywords=ips+144hz+monitor&qid=1574981150&refinements=p_72%3A419153031%2Cp_n_feature_two_browse-bin%3A2596482031&rnid=319915031&s=computers&sprefix=ips+144hz%2Ccomputers%2C238&sr=1-7
If you really want a TN panel you could definitely get a cheaper model. For that price point of the one you linked, I'd recommend the Pixo PX7 Prime which has a $40 coupon right now, or the LG 27GL83A-B. These are both IPS panels.
The Pixio PX7 might be something you look into. Pretty new and pretty great panel (other than black light bleed lottery) and decently priced
Pixio PX7 Prime 27 inch 165Hz IPS 95% DCI-P3 HDR WQHD 2560 x 1440 Wide Screen Display 1440p Flat AMD Radeon FreeSync Certified Ultimate Esports Gaming Monitor, 2 Years Warranty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WGXXV55/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0FxODb3SH4CPS
Probably this Pixio PX7 is about as cheap as it gets (you pay somewhat more for IPS vs TN), there's other brands like LG which have IPS, 1440p, 144hz, 27" but cost more too.
EDIT: I think this ASUS monitor is on par with the Pixio and ASUS is the better brand.
I'd go with 10bit colors IPS like Aorus AD27QD, Pixio PX7 Prime, or LG 27GL850. They are all G-sync compatible.

You'll want to be on the lookout for these (among others), I believe these use the same panel as the Aorus you linked but someone else should confirm:

Huh, I hadn't heard of that one. It's not a bad price and looks pretty good.

I'd also recommend getting a FreeSync monitor. It'll synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card's framerate, reducing or eliminating input latency, screen tearing, and stuttering. Your card won't be able to push 144fps on all games (unless you lower some settings) and it'll fluctuate, therefore FreeSync should help reduce all those visual artifacts without having to sacrifice input lag by enabling v-sync. A 27" 1440p 144hz IPS FreeSync monitor is pretty much the best pairing for your system.
Haven't looked around much but this has a $40 coupon right now which puts it at $390 + taxes and that's the best price I've seen with those specs (even compared to 144hz): https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07WGXXV55/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_AlS0DbMWHK1PW
Although if you wanted to save some money I would've recommended the 95hz version, considering the jump from 60hz and 95hz is more noticeable than from 95hz to 144hz.
If you miss out on the LG also, consider this pixio. $380 after the instant $50 coupon and it's been that price all week. It Has better color gamut with the 95% DCI-P3 but a little worse contrast. Although all IPS monitors do. It's also 165 hz monitor but you have to turn off free sync to use it that high. Also no tax in FL for some reason on this. I was planning on getting this if I don't find anything better tomorrow.

For that priceI'd say your best option is the Pixio PX7:
https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-FreeSync-Certified-Ultimate-Warranty/dp/B07WGXXV55
It just released and uses the same panel as the Gigabyte AD27QD which is reviewed here:

Pixio PX7 Prime shipping early October
it's 2k 165hz IPS. https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-FreeSync-Certified-Ultimate-Warranty/dp/B07WGXXV55/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2VP3ZQ48JVZX0&keywords=pixio+px7&qid=1568699140&sprefix=pixio+px7%2Caps%2C196&sr=8-1
never owned a pixio but have always heard good things. This is a very tempting monitor for me but I just picked up the 27gl850. Will see what the review looks like when this comes out. Also, you can pre order on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-FreeSync-Certified-Ultimate-Warranty/dp/B07WGXXV55/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=pixio+prime+px7&qid=1568795705&sr=8-1-fkmr0
