Tackle Boxes are AWESOME I like Plano, you can write them and they'll send you a bunch of extra dividers for free if you like.
They're great for bits and for model carriage and they're super cheap. Stick a bit of foam in the compartment and it's padded.
They're also compatible with stuff like these! If you have one of those you can use it for carrying armies. Since the boxes are interchangeable you can even keep the armies apart in specific boxes making it easier to carry only what you need.
However if you want to carry bits it may be worth gluing the divider down so they don't move and so your organization doesn't get ruined by bits crawling from one square to the other.
Ugh, it's come up in price (to $26), I paid $17 for mine...
Tackle box.. 30ml bottles fit nicely in the organizer trays, tanks in the smaller slots, and my tools, wick wire and spare batteries fit nicely in the top.

It's fine. I bought this one on amazon from a link someone else posted a while back. Works great, and holds all my stuff. Plus, it's only 15 bucks!

For storage, I use sets of fishing tackle boxes - the Plano ones are usually set up with individual trays with separable compartments, letting her set it up how she wants for rings she keeps a lot/little of.
Something like this works really well for storing a working set of rings, and then you can store tools and stuff in the top.

Fishing is patriotic, fishing is All-American, fishing gives me another reason to love this great country I am from. That is why I believe this tackle box is a heck of a way to show patriotism, and why I would love to have it.
