For some reason I couldn't make my own thread so if you could do it for me (and title it something along the lines of "Best Power Plan for FPS Analysis") that's free karma for you, but this is what I was getting

Best Power Plan for FPS Analysis

CPU: i7-7700 @ 3.6ghz

GPU: MSI GTX 1060 3gb

RAM: 16gb 2400mhz

Game is on an SSD

Discord is open & overlay is ON

Resolution: 1280x1024 streched

Settings: All LOW

  • Balanced: Average framerate: 308.38
    • Performance [Average framerate: 308.96] Appearance [Average framerate: 306.91] (These are set via WIN+R "SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe" )

  • Ultimate Performance: Average framerate: 297.39
  • High Performance: Average framerate: 295.14
  • Power Saver: Average framerate: 291.73

Note: All tests were only run once as I do not have the patience to sit here and wait for the test to complete multiple times.

Note 2: Initial Average framerates were with custom Performance options with only "Smooth edges of screen fonts" and "Show window contents while dragging" ON.

Since I was doing it already I decided to do the same for Rainbow Six Siege

240GB. Let me look at my past posts and see if I can find the link. Comes in today! Come on delivery guy.

Edit: Found it. You’ll need the enclosure as well.

PNY 240 ssd

That’s an internal ssd. You need an “enclosure” to fit it into. They’re all pretty much the same. You just need it to support USB 3.0 (which most do nowadays)

Sabrent Enclosure

Just pop them together. Plug it in. The Xbox will recognize it and then you go from there.

Sorry about the Canadian prices. Should be alot cheaper in American.

This was the setup that was posted a couple weeks ago, plugged it in and reformatted the drive. Had to reset my xbox and then simply moved pubg to the ssd.

It's completely changed pubg for me. Sucks I had to pay extra $$$ to play it. But it was totally worth it.

Considering how you can buy a 240GB SSD for only $30, $35, or $35, no it isn't. In fact, I know I've seen them go even cheaper, but that would require more than about a minute's worth of effort to search.

And, even then, you can just delete the data that's taking up the space.

Edit: And, those prices scale down pretty well as you increase capacity. My 1TB SSD with far more reliable speeds and nearly double the warranty was $115. And, prices have really come down, too. My previous SSD, I paid 2.5x for it and it had 1/4th the capacity. Sure, it's not quite the same GB per dollar ratio as my $205 8TB spinning rust drive, but SSDs are certainly affordable. Even in budget builds.
