also add a 128-200gb sd card.
Don't buy the sandisk low profile flash drive, they overheat and break very quickly.
Never put any sensitive material that you care for being lost, on a sd card/usb stick but they are great for media storage. I wouldn't run apps off the usb stick, it will prematurely kill it imo.
I posted this to the external storage thread. pny has a new fit sized drive that's in stock on the 9th. seems to have better specs than the samsung and sandisk. i may order it to use with the win. in my case i have no other use for the usb port so this works for me.
I use this low profile usb drive with 128GB. Very reliable, fast speed, no issues with my model 3.

512GB seems a bit overkill. I'm using the 128GB version of the PNY 3.0 here. Bought one from Best Buy last month, and just bought another one on Amazon earlier this week and awaiting its arrival.
