> Not PoE powered

This will allow you to power a Raspberry Pi via PoE. I used it with my Unifi 16-150 and it works like a charm.

If you're okay with spending a bit more ($18) then there are loads of 802.2af compliant PoE extractors now. You just get 5V out and it goes straight into the RPi. Like this unit from Amazon. They're pretty handy to have if you do have PoE switches installed. There is also a 12V output version.

You are both correct. The pi in the picture is connected via usb to the fritzbox. Throughout the house I'm using this to power the Pi via PoE: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0108TD78Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Have not tried it, but those adapters may also be used to charge devices via PoE (5V/2A micro usb)
