It's not even vaguely a "no true scotsman" fallacy. Left politics ultimately aims to create a classless, moneyless society where the means of production and control of resources are in the hands of the people, not private individuals and corporations. Most wealthy people do not support political movements that threaten their status, and it costs massive amounts of money to set up a major media organisation. The owners are almost exclusively bourgeois elites who support political parties that serve the interests of other bourgeois elites.

No major media outlet that I can think of is advocating for communism/socialism anywhere in the world. One or two are left of centre (Jacobin being an obvious example) but most are centre or centre-right. If you're interested in this topic, I'd recommend reading this book:

It goes through the history and development of the modern press, and the author has a very thorough working knowledge of the media and politics.
