Reddit mentions of Preparing for Contact: A Metamorphosis of Consciousness

I have read about the mantis beings you are speaking of as well as the other grey beings you spoke of in your post in a book I received second hand. It provides a pretty thorough explanation about a handful of different species of aliens and why they chose to contact with humans. The book is called "preparing for contact" I believe.
