1. Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Collection. The only fiction that I could re-read it without finding it boring or predictable.
2. The Post-American World. This is the book that shaped my understanding of contemporary foreign policy from an American perspective. I believed that my counterpart will gain an insight about my thoughts on major international conflict by reading this book;
3. With Reverence and Awe: Returning to the Basics of Reformed Worship. This book outline a compelling argument that I can't ignore: worship ultimately is broader than singing psalms or hymns to praise God. Also, I am attracted to the idea that liturgy during the Lord's day service is necessarily dialogical - it is a dialogue between God and His people. In essence, this book introduced me to Reformed understanding of Regulative Principle of Worship.
4.1 Probably NIV ed 1984. It is easy to understand for a seeker.
