Reddit mentions of PS3 320GB Uncharted 3 Bundle

the Uncharted 3 bundle looks pretty good to me.

PS3 bundles usually only happen with COD and exclusives (inFamous, Killzone, Uncharted, God of War, etc.). There are probably still a lot of Uncharted bundles out there if you know where to look.

Don't bother getting a used console from CraigsList or GameStop. Those are usually the fat models that are superloud and overheat and end up YLOD'd on you after a while. Go for the slim model (not sure about the new slim model that just came out though).

I doubt there will be any price drops on consoles during Black Friday or Christmas though. Retailers make so little profit off of consoles as it is. The games and accessories are where the big profit is, so they'll give you deals on those.

Since your roommate is probably taking all his games with him, here's what I do to get good games for less:

1. If there's a Fry's near you... they will match internet pricing.
   
   
2. Cheapassgamer.com. It's a blog that shows all the weekly deals for gaming in the major stores.
   
   
3. Gamefly.com. They give you good deals on used games with free shipping usually, and no membership is required.
   
   
4. There have been a TON of game bundles out recently: Ratchet & Clank collection, God of War saga, Uncharted two-pack (all DLC included), inFamous bundle, Killzone trilogy coming in October (all DLC included), etc. Save money by getting multiple games for the price of one.
   
   
5. If you need an extra controller, be sure to check out the greatest hits/controller combos. It's a controller and a best-selling PS3 exclusive for $60. Can't beat that. You can get games like Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, God of War, and Ratchet & Clank for free basically.
   
   
6. Last but not least, Playstation Plus. Look up Playstation's Blog to see what you get for free. It's a really good deal for just $18 every three months, or $50 for the year.

Either way, I saw on CAG that there was an even better deal for a super slim 500gb ACIII model for $229.00. Not sure if they are in stock though

I would suggest this. Bigger HDD+ Uncharted 3, costs 300 plus warranty if you plan on getting that. I would suggest buying used games from Amazon with the description "like new". I have bought a couple a things 40-50% off used off Amazon and they work great and looked new.
