I’ve been coloring my hair blonde for years and recently went gray for a while. Yes, it’s very hard to achieve and maintain but there is an amazing purple shampoo called “B Uniq” that I got on amazon that did wonders for maintaining the gray/ashy look. It’s a very deep purple so you can’t leave it on for too long, but wow it really gets rid of unwanted brass. There are a lot of before/after customer reviews that might be helpful.
