My guess is you reference amazon numbering on the titles?

When you click the link on the page itself that said book 3 of 4, it brings you to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FRYQCKB?ref_=series_rw_dp_labf

You see that raze is ordered as 3, but title still goes by Raze (The Completionist Chronicles Book 4)

For ascend online, it seems amazon "fix" the wrong order by simply calling hell to pay as book 3(which is still not true, and better still in the page itself it has a link for Book 2 of 3 in Ascend Online still) so that legacy of the fallen can be rightly term as book 2.

If I were to guess, amazon refuses to let author title books with a .5

In your other comment the blurb of hell to pay starts with "A side novel set in the same world" so pretty sure the confusing numbering arise out of amazon rather then author themselves titling their book wrongly.

PS: Raze ebook did correctly shows it as book 3 btw.
