Or you could do what I do... Order a rOtring 500 (with the metal tip and plastic body) for less money, then cannibalize it for parts. Great for erasers, tips, and even lead tubes.

More expensive than this offer on Amazon and you gotta wait who knows how long. Shipping can make or break a Massdrop deal, too.

Massdrop is only good for really weird stuff, like mechanical keyboards and caps that require a group buy because they rarely get produced.
Maybe the rOtring 500? There really isn't anything special about it, but it looks really nice and it's one of the best grips I've ever used.

Hey sorry for the random reply, is this the same pencil you got? :https://www.amazon.com/rOtring-0-5mm-Mechanical-Pencil-502505N/dp/B00C1YNBQS/ref=sr_1_6?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1485854068&sr=1-6&keywords=rotring
Just wondering because of the difference in how much it costs not and how much you paid for it. I'm thinking about just picking this up right now, looks like it's only available in .5 mm lead and I've always hated .5 mm but I never tried quality lead with a quality pencil and this one is relatively affordable so I won't hate my life if it turns out I don't like it.
thanks!
