I fucking love The Clash, top 5 band of mine for sure. Some of my favorite songs of theirs are off their first album: White Riot, Jail Guitar Doors, Janie Jones, Police & Thieves, I Fought The Law, (I know the last 2 are covers).
As for London Calling, I recently read Route 19 Revisited: The Clash and London Calling by Marcus Gray which was over 500 friggen pages but it was still pretty damn interesting.
