They are called one-size, worked for us from ~2 months up to over a year when we stopped using them. We cloth diapered as well (used a service), so these worked over sposies or over fitted cloth.
Plus they are super cute.
I've never used dawn for stripping--I don't know if it's strong enough to get rid of mineral build up and stains. I prefer usingGrovia Mighty Bubbles or RLR--I've had good success getting rid of stains, mineral build up and stink with both of those options.
Yes, I feel comfortable running my pockets through the wash with a 1/4 cup bleach. Mine were also used when I got them, so that's how I sanitized them because stripping can be too hard on the waterproof lining.
If you have just basic covers (like Rumparooz diaper covers or Thirsties duo wrap or something similar), just run them through the wash with 1/4 cup bleach too. Use hot water during the bleach wash. It should be just fine!
