You will need more than that. Newborns up to 5/6 months go through anywhere from 10-12 diapers per day and because the BumGenius are all-in-one's you aren't able to reuse the covers, so you have to throw the whole thing in the wash every time. Register for at least 25-30 because you probably don't want to wash diapers every single day. If that's too expensive, I'd look into prefolds and covers, which are much cheaper and you can reuse covers until they get poopy or wet. If you do go the prefold/cover route, I'd get 3 dozen prefolds (small size), 2 dozen prefolds (large size) and 8-10 covers. I recommend Rumparooz covers because the elastics are great on them!
