If he hasn't read it yet, there's a great book out there by a PT who was at Walter Reed called Run, Don't Walk. A really interesting glimpse into the PT field and working with vets! Our local VA hospital took PTA students for clinical rotations, and my classmates seemed to really enjoy that setting. Such meaningful work!
