Along that same vein, for those of you about to start annotating FA, these Sakura marker pens are perfect! They don't bleed and having multiple colors is really helpful.

1-I both highlight and underline. I like them both.

2-The highlighter color pencils I use aren’t sold anymore. But for underlining I really like to use these. They don’t bleed through.

3- I have a video on How I read the Bible with Jesus where I go over my color code. I have my color code here. I did add red since my video though.

4-I use a wide margin Bible. I got this one It’s even on sale for $100 less than I paid right now! I decided to invest in my Bible this time since my others always fell apart easily.

If you like Japanese pens you can't really go wrong with some Hi Tec C's. Popular super-fine pen, comes in a ton of colors.

Personally I really like writing with Sakura Pigma Microns. Keep in mind though that being felt-tipped pens, they'll write a bit differently than your standard ballpoint/gel pens.

If you refuse to step out of ballpoint land, Uniball Jetstreams are usually heralded as being better than most.

Bit late sorry but I bought these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001CRIGZQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Multi colour - same make as the other recommendation.

My only advice is to leave the ink to dry for ages - overnight for example - before putting a wash or varnish or something on it. It seemed to stay quite liquid on the surface for some time.
