They work great, especially for the price. As far as Android, it's fine and it DOES update to 7. We have over 40 of the 10" version. $145 seems high even with the discount. I would get the 10" for a few dollars more.
Refurbished 10 inch model is actually less, $149. Better warranty than the new, I can confirm they work great.

You're very welcome. I ended up getting a refurbished one via Amazon to save $100, and they could have sold it as brand new, because there is absolutely zero difference between what I received and a new in box model, so that might be something to keep in mind as well.
