I would get something like this

EDIT: Ive never done it before so idk what software to use, but Im sure you can do a quick google/youtube search and find some free software to rip/play blu ray discs to your computer. I think handbrake for mac does both DVD and blu rays. I know for sure it rips DVDs pretty well.
