if you're willing to spend just a tad more, the JU7100 goes for right at 2k and is a very good TV.

The JU6500 might be more what you're looking for price wise. It's not a bad set, but the 7100 might be worth the extra money.

The JU7100 steps up to a true 120hz panel, which means less motion blur, and no judder on movies. the JU6500 will have judder since it's only a 60hz panel.

Some of their UHD TV's didn't have HDR baked in originally. My model noted above is one of those.

Some manufacturer information from Samsung on Amazon now appears to say that it's now considered to meet CEA 4K UHD Connected and HDR Compatibility Definitions and be Compatible with Next-Gen UHD Blu-Ray HDR.

I know it won't have the performance of a higher caliber SUHD TV with HDR, but it sounds like it will realize some of the benefit. Otherwise why include them in the press release?

I just can't find a great source to outright confirm or deny any of this.
