$28 for a 128GB USB 3 drive

u/GT5_k · 13 pointsr/pcmasterrace

Nice catch, I missed that. Amazon uses that same picture for the 16, 32, 64 and 128gb variants though:

https://www.amazon.de/SanDisk-USB-Flash-Laufwerk-150-MB-Neueste-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/

I have the 128gb on my desk and it looks just like that.

u/advocat3 · 13 pointsr/buildapcsales

This is a good deal but personally for $5 more I prefer the SanDisk one which you can't bend and break the drive or your usb port: http://smile.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1459355305&sr=8-1&keywords=sandisk+ultra+fit

u/joazito · 12 pointsr/techsupportmacgyver

Also $30, but 128 GB. I have one and I love it, fits nicely in the small pocket in my trousers.

u/fletom · 11 pointsr/bapcsalescanada

for anyone who doesn't know, these make excellent boot drives for secondary/server PCs that won't use much storage, since they sit almost flush with the USB port

they also have 64GB for $19.99: https://www.amazon.ca/SanDisk-Ultra-Flash-Drive-SDCZ43-064G-GAM46/dp/B01BGTG3JA/

and 128GB for $37.99: https://www.amazon.ca/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/

  1. These for now; Gigabyte GC-RAMDISK i-RAM PCI and 5.25 bay variants: https://imgur.com/gallery/D2tI0

  2. Nexus WaveAir PCI Intake or Exhaust Cooling

  3. Nexus BeamAir Fan Grill

  4. Bought this case for a build but never touched it because I wanted a tall but very shallow case because I love the monolithic look; Rosewill Rise

  5. I bought couple tiny USB thumbdrives specifically with an activity LED just to RAID them (mainly for password with Keypass protection, ISO backup and log files for each node) and have blinkenlights on the back of my future build (mostly on sale): Sandisk Ultra Fit's Then a couple other tiny ones that look sleak with no LED for the front of the cases: Leaf Surge

  6. Totally awesome RGB mouse with a ton of button to replace my dead mouse. I could have just gone for a standard layout mouse and save a few bucks but I wanted to have extra buttons for gaming in War Thunder, etc. I still haven't used the majority of buttons for anything, derp. I did get a discount though. SteelSeries Rival 500

  7. Extra SATA SSD for just my pagefile, temp files, log files, torrents & downloads (cache before moving to HDD). Totally not needed but eh; was on a Newegg special sale I believe. ADATA S510

  8. Little LCD screen to show my computer stats (with fully customizable software): LCDsysinfo GOverlay and here's pics of it: one and two

  9. Had a perfectly fine case, NZXT Gamma that I replaced just because I wanted an orange case; Corsair 230T. It's my current build.

  10. I bought different fans just to play around and test them from Cougar (with orange fans), CoolerMaster and others. Totally not needed. But I found the ones I love, CoolerMaster 120mm JetFlo's.

  11. Took out my 5.25 bay slots and put an orange Cougar fan in there with an acylic mount for more streamlined airflow (and got featured on a site): http://www.ambassadorbase.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/09-W7ARHue.jpg

  12. Killer NIC Xeno Pro (I wanted the 2100 Bigfoot branded but got sold me the wrong one, he didn't know better, eh) just to play around with. Got it off ebay last year for $10ish. I just like hardware. Surprisingly works with Win10 (with some crashing). Has a Freescale PowerPC CPU (NPU) and running linux internally; that's pretty cool. The router function is pretty easy and snazzy. From all the research, it does do some things slightly faster since bypasses the Windows stack and no shitty emulation (thus CPU) from Realtek (TCP delay set to 1).

There are a couple things I wanted but lost bids on.

For example I wanted an cartridge based DVD drive to use DVD RAM for fun (and because it's cyberpunk as fook): image

I also wanted these 5.25 bay speakers: image

Whatever you do, don't get the Ultra Fit drive from SanDisk. I've got a 128GB model, and even on idle, the thing gets hot. Like, stupid hot.

u/Jarlek · 5 pointsr/gpdwin

I did a bit of research on this. The two main competitors for the low profile USB 3.0 usb sticks are the Lexar S45:

https://www.amazon.com/Lexar-JumpDrive-128GB-Flash-Drive/dp/B012PKV7RC

And the SanDisk Ultra Fit:

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/

They are similar in price (around 30 dollars). I went with the Lexar because it seemed to be slightly faster in head to head benchmarks and the profile of it is flat. The primary downside when I got it is that it has a VERY bright blue LED that flashes with activity. However, I simply put some electrical tape over it and it almost entirely blocks it.

For SDCards, it seems the fastest performers are the Samsung EVO Plus:

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-mc128d-128gb-Uhs-i-Adapter/dp/B0118LR9Z8/

It has the fastest read speed at 80 MB/sec, which is still quite a bit slower than the USB which I usually benchmark at around 150 MB/Sec max, and the internal memory is faster than both, and much better read speed (so prioritize putting games etc that have longer loading times or require writing in the internal memory).

u/mr_yuk · 5 pointsr/AndroidTV

As a gen1 Pro owner my take is that the only reason to get the Gen2 Pro is if you are running Plex Server on it or you require the IR receiver. You can expand the internal storage with a USB3.0 flash drive. The old specs listed a 128GB limit. The new specs mention a specific 128 drive as a recommended model but do not mention a storage limit. Still for $28 on Amazon you can have 144GB storage.

u/linuxdragons · 4 pointsr/linuxadmin

That sounds like a complicated solution (e.g. prone to failure) for a simple problem. The simplest solution would simply be to inform whoever is managing the laptops that they must be online on a schedule for backups and failure to adhere to that could result in data loss. The next easiest would be to add a backup drive to each laptop. Low profile thumb drives, SSD cards, etc. Are all inexpensive. Lastly, adding some sort of NAS device that they could connect to locally if needed would still be simpler than some sort of Silicon Valley storage solution.

Crouton works with external drives, although I'd recommend a low-profile USB 3 flash drive (eg, Samsung, Sandisk) over an SD card. I found Crouton from an SD card to be painfully slow any time something had to do much I/O like program updates.

I haven't tried an XBox 360 controller, but my DS4 works plugged in without any extra software. I would guess that it will work fine.

The i3, in addition to being a faster CPU, has twice the EUs in its iGPU compared to the Celeron and they're clocked ~15% higher. Probably won't make a difference it what you're playing, but if you want to try running more graphically-demanding games it would be useful.

Recently I cleared up my laptop of all pre 2017 music and put it on a tiny tiny 128gig USB. I mean tiny as it’s literally invisible.

Those low profile USB drives can be very useful, indeed. E.g. I bought one for my wife's car radio. Hardly sticks out of the front.

u/Ellsass · 2 pointsr/onebag

Great write-up. I'm probably going to buy those pants and maybe another item or two. Even after ~10 long one-bag trips I'm still working on refining my load.

> USB drive x2 – My laptop’s hard drive isn’t huge, so I use these for extra storage.

Check out these tiny Sandisk drives. They're so small you could probably just leave them in your MacBook all the time.

> One thing my bag is missing that I wish I’d had: A European USB charger.

I recommend picking up some small, cheap adapters (look around and you can find even smaller ones) and coupling them with your USB chargers from home.

I prefer multi-port, high-speed chargers (2+ amps/port) such as this one. Even better, grab a 4-port charger if you have more than 2 devices to charge. While Airbnbs have plenty of outlets, hotels are often skimpy—and one of them is consumed by your MacBook—so it's essentially to be able to charge all of your devices with just one outlet.

> Google Maps

Check out the offline maps app called Galileo Pro. It's designed specifically for offline mapping. Google Maps is my #1 choice when I have a connection but it's pretty clunky about offline data. Galileo has tons of points of interest, it can import custom Google maps, and it'll even cache Wikipedia articles related to the area & sights. I've tried tons of offline mapping solutions and this is my favorite. There's a free version as well, but Pro is well worth the petty cash price.

I do not know of very many books- besides what you will probably read through your CS coursework -but you are on the right track by watching Daniel Shiffman's videos. I have found that many books are just out-of-date reference materials. The best books, articles, and blogs are those that walk you through the development process, such as how they came up with their idea, how they developed the idea, and what they took into consideration when designing and programming it.

My advice, if you have an idea, write it down and/or type it up.

Personally, I have a Microsoft OneNote notebook that I type all of my ideas and programming notes into. It isn't the best solution, but it has worked for me. You could do a word document, or just a plain text file. Just get those ideas on paper.

As you learn more about programming and software design, look through your notes and expand on your ideas. Even if you are no artist, draw a picture of what each screen of your app/game might look like and put it with your notes. If you want to borrow a concept from another app or game- but be careful of copyright -find a video or picture of it and add it to your notes along with what you like and dislike about it.

That is honestly going to be the hardest part about the whole process, finding an idea and developing it into something someone would use or play. Don't be afraid to propose something big, just be realistic on how long it will take to develop.

If you are looking for tools, probably the best for a beginning game developer is Unity 3D, which is free- with paid options available and kind of required when you go commercial -and supports multi-platform development. It uses JavaScript and C#, but if you are comprehending C++, those two will be easy to pick up. Tons of free game assets and tutorials available online as well.

For creating some basic 3D models in you potential game, learn some of the basics of Blender You don't have to be an artist to create some simple models and textures to prototype your game.

For general non-gaming apps, there is Android Studio. I don't have much experience with it, but it appears to be fairly straightforward in design.

I would definitely learn how to use Git, if you don't know already. My favorite GUI- for Windows and Mac OSX -is SourceTree. I would highly recommend using Git with any programming project, even if you are working alone, to keep track of your changes and to make creating backups easier. For example, I have my working copy of my projects on a 128GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB drive, with Git remotes pointing to bare repositories on my home network attached storage, and one in the cloud at Amazon Web Services. With one click, my entire day's work is backed up to those repositories. . .no worries if I lose my USB drive or my house burns down.

So, that was a unintended wall of text. . .if you want to know anything more specific, feel free to ask.

u/Cool-Beaner · 2 pointsr/raspberry_pi

Why use a hard drive for only 80 GB. You can get a 128 GB flash drive for cheaper than that, and you don't have any power problems.
Or, for the same price, you can get a 128 GB flash drive that goes faster than that hard drive.

u/Asuri_ · 2 pointsr/vitahacks

I've just bought a 128GB USB stick for mine. It's the low profile Sandisk drive and it works wonders. It was super cheap too; https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/ I've also tried the Seagate Backup Plus 500GB external drive which also powers fine. I don't really want to test if an external HDD can be plugged in for long periods of time just incase anything happens to it. I think USB sticks are more durable.

u/Pescodar189 · 2 pointsr/SuggestALaptop

I agree.

The other option I'm looking into instead of the HDD potentially is getting a 256GB USB3.0 drive with a really low profile like this one https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496342789&sr=8-1&keywords=sandisk+small+usb

Although I swear that USB drive was $25 on Amazon when I looked yesterday (it's $35.38 now)...

edit: I looked up the price for that USB drive and it looks like the $25 price doesn't come around too often... https://camelcamelcamel.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/product/B01BGTG2A0

u/Justinicus · 2 pointsr/privacy

I typically just edit my local copy of the container, then manually copy/paste it out to multiple thumb drives, because I only really make updates once a year (tax time). I just plug them all into a hub, copy, then paste, paste, paste.

If I were doing it more regularly, I would use a file sync utility. Microsoft's SyncToy is free and powerful, but I'm not sure I trust MS anymore. I would look for an open source sync/backup tool if I wanted to automate it now.

As for brands, I stick with any major brand (Transcend, SanDisk, Samsung, Kingston, PNY, I'm sure there are other good ones) in the format that makes the most sense. For safe storage, something like this would be great (bought one 3 years ago, still going strong):
https://smile.amazon.com/PNY-Turbo-64GB-Flash-Drive/dp/B00FDUHDAC

If you want to keep it in your bag, car, etc., you might want something ruggedized:
https://smile.amazon.com/Corsair-Flash-Survivor-Stealth-Drive/dp/B00YHL1LN8

To keep stuck in a laptop (or in my case, windows tablet) USB port, I personally use this one:

On Kodi (not on Roku, but can be installed on cheap android sticks) there is an addon named Pseudotv that should do exactly this. It can also "build TV channels" around internet streams. Be sure not to stream illegal content (a lot of youtube videos showing how) and get your mother in law in trouble. Should work great for local content.

If you use a windows based HDMI stick (maybe with a cheap flash drive for storage, there is a nifty Pseudotv library tool.

Note, this can be accomplished without a windows stick for a lot cheaper, using an android stick, and you get better app support (windows 10 apps do not support remote controls out of the box. If you go that route use this to enable remote support in netflix)

There are a lot of options when it comes to client/server setup.

If you have access to a Windows computer, use 'YUMI' to install as many Linux distributions as you want on a flash drive. I use it to create a toolkit flash drive so I have password recovery tools, hard drive wiping tools and others all on one drive. To answer your questions...

  • What is "best" is up to what you want to do. Don't use Kali Linux --- it's not meant as a daily driver distribution. It is a highly specialized distribution meant for networking testing and security. If you like the way it looks, you're looking for a distribution that uses GNOME3. You can easily install GNOME3 on /any/ distribution and change it's look to look like Kali.

  • You can't remove the USB and keep using the operating system --- that risks corrupting the drive since the computer is reading/writing to it. If you're installing the OS on the USB and size is an issue, look into a small form-factor USB like this one to leave in your computer. I have that flash drive and it gets hot but runs great otherwise.

  • Flash drives have limited read/write cycles and aren't meant to act as hard drives. They have less ability to deal with heat dissipation, in general. They're easy to lose or break.

  • Not sure on this one, I'd like to do the same, and I know there used to be a remaster program for Linux Mint, but it hasn't been updated/used in a while.
u/TokyoRock · 2 pointsr/SuggestALaptop

You may want to consider a Chromebook. Many of them have very nice displays and keyboards for less money than a Windows laptop, and they can do everything you want them to.

If you'd consider it, I would suggest the Dell Chromebook 13. It has up to 15 hr of battery life, a 1080p screen, a superb touchpad and backlit keyboard, and a very nice case. Also, Google Drive has local document storage, so you don't always need to be connected to the internet to write or edit documents. Here's a review of this model. And for music storage, I'd suggest a low profile USB drive that you stick in the USB 2.0 port on the laptop and forget about.

u/Taymurf · 2 pointsr/HomeServer

I got this NUC i5 with this 16GB RAM (though it was on a sale when I got it), and this SSD which is crazy fast.

As far as storage space goes, I have only used about 6gb of storage space on my SSD because of how incredibly lightweight the ubuntu server .iso is and that is while I'm running all of the things I mentioned. I have a Synology DS918+ that houses all of my media files for plex and I would be able to use that as an offsite storage by mounting it in ubuntu if I ever needed more space (which I doubt I will).

The NUC that I linked is the tall version which means that you can add in that SSD as the bootdrive for lightning fast speeds and then it also has space for a 2.5" drive as well so you could add a 4TB HDD or whatever else you would choose, and you could also use external storage through USB 3.0 (I keep a 128gb USB backup plugged in at all times that I use to backup important files (automated through home assistant to get my entire config every night) in case of any failure.

SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, or similar, if you have a USB 3.0 connection; SanDisk Cruzer Fit CZ33 64GB USB 2.0, or similar, if not. Easy to leave in place without worrying about destroying the drive or port. I've had good experience with the SanDisk line of micro USB thumb-drives. I have one plugged in to my dash in the truck, another in a portable radio, and a third in a netbook. No issues. I use them to hold music mainly; but video, documents, pics, etc do just fine for storage/retrieval. You could go with portable HDD if you need a ton more room, they work for the same application(s) you just cannot plug it in and forget the way you can the micro thumb-drives.

You could get away with the same application on an SD card, though for video you will want to check and see what SD bus speed your rig supports. The latest, UHS II, has throughput comparable to USB 3.0 thumbdrives/HDDs.

If you are thinking of trying to load games on an external device you will want to look at external SSD's. They have the best throughput based on your available connection type (3.0, C, Thunderbolt). USB 3.0 SSD's have about 4x the transfer rate of 3.0 HDDs. They are rather pricey though.

That's kind of where I was leaning -- I'm still within my 14 day return window, and love the size/capability of the MacBook.

I ordered the m7/256 because I thought the processor upgrade would be worth it, and I could live with 256GB because portable USB3.0 storage is dirt cheap (and, to be honest, it's also a little cheaper than the m5/512).

Do you have any Android devices lying around? Could put all the episodes on a flash drive and combine that with a USB on the go system and watch the episodes locally without streaming hassles. Not as large of a setup there but you mentioned the iOS issue. Anyone know a way to make something like this work with an apple device?

Mods, please note these are not affiliate links. I just googled these products to save OP the time.

Soldered flash storage I imagine? You coupd get more with one of these

u/WyomingNotTheState · 1 pointr/mac

I'm still using a mid-2011 11" MBA. It's my favorite computer ever. It's not fast, and I wish it had 8 GB of RAM, but the size is just wonderful.

Get one of these, which you can just leave in. It will help you deal with the frustratingly small internal disks these things have.

u/_Shut_Up_Thats_Why_ · 1 pointr/SuggestALaptop

Do you know of any problems with something like this for extra storage? I need a flash drive but not one this big. But for 20 extra dollars it gives me 50% boost in storage and I get a flash drive.

Edit: Never mind. I bought it.

I use this hub:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TPMEOYM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00

with this USB:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BGTG2A0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title

but I think any type of USB drive/external hard drive would work with that hub. I wouldn't recommend the drive I use because it overheats when transferring games. I even power the PS Classic from the hub...

By the way I'm using this SanDisk pendrive (128Gb) plugged on the right (passenger side) usb port => https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BGTG2A0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

USB would be the best with zero loss. Bluetooth should be fine if it's any recent protocol. The old SBC for voice is what got it a bad rap. The most recent ones use aptX and most use something like 256kb/s AAC. You probably can't tell the difference in a blind A/B test especially with road noise. What head unit do you have that you can't use USB with a Galaxy?

Or here, this'll hold all your music: 128GB USB stick, $28.

The 2.5" drives are typically 7mm or 9.5mm

I was unfamiliar with 12.5mm size and did a quick ebay search and the highest capacity at a 12.5mm height was 1TB. They were all old/used drives.

I bought and returned a Seagate 4TB Expansion Drive which also has the 15mm height. Based on my ebay searches, at 9.5mm the 2.5" HDDs max out at 2TB. It seems like if you can't fit a 15mm drive it would be best to get something at 9mm or below for a laptop drive.

I used to own a Late 2011 15" Mbp and in 2014 I upgraded the RAM and swapped out the HDD for a 250gb 2.5" Samsung EVO SSD. It was like buying a new laptop performance wise.

That doesn't help you upgrade your internal storage, though. If it is a laptop you might be best off using an external hard drive. What I did was purchase a really small 128GB Sandisk Ultrafit to have a really small profile to keep mounted at all times. If I needed to use more storage I would plug in a portable drive.

I do not know what you use the laptop for, but I would 100% recommend a 120GB or 250GB 2.5" SSD along with a RAM upgrade.

I still have the crucial 4GB compatible RAM (possibly 2x4GB....I do not remember). I used it for 6 months. There is a shortage and RAM prices are really high right now. I could send you my 2011 MBP compatible RAM. PM me. (sorry if this breaks a rule)

I use a small flash drive constantly in my computer to store my photos on. I'm looking into upgrading my SSD over the holidays so I don't have to do this other than for backups, but it's worked fine for about a year.

I agree on the nervous part with the thumb drive sticking out. My remedy to that is this: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1483128438&sr=8-4&keywords=128gb+sandisk
It's much larger in capacity and much smaller physically.

u/gabrishl · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Thing is, your PS4 Pro Analogy is wrong. A PS4 Pro is $400. Four Controllers (the exact same you factored into your pricing) is $180. Since there's no screen protector, let's just not include that- let's subsitute the Pro Controller for the EMiO Elite Controller for PS4 , which is $80. We'll substitute the charging grip for the PDP Energizer 2X Charging Station for PS4 , which retails for $20- then we add in a Micro USB cable (which are usually cheaper than USB-C) that I found on Amazon that I found for $5. Add a 128gb SD Equivalent of this SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB Drive for $31, That's a grand total of $736- WITHOUT equivalents for some of the items, and with no games.

u/cokefudge · 1 pointr/gpdwin

I don't own either but I did some searching back when I was considering getting one. Both models you listed seem to run pretty issue-free, and I know a lot of folks on this subreddit use the sandisk one.

The ones with heating (sometimes even leading to drive failure) issues were the older model of the sandisk.

Of course they can, but there's no need. And if what you want is portability, get a couple of these an move as many games as you want with you in your pocket (steam allows to create portable forders and use it between machines if configured properly, that's how I carry a part of my library always with me).

I already had the case and power supply so I didn't pay any extra for that and/or that's why I went with those choices.

Just last night I finished moving 90% of my movies and tv shows over. Took me 24 hours to do that at 19 mbps.

I'm using Nas4Free installed on a small (physical size) Sandisk Ultra Fit (surprisingly easy to set up with some guides) running raidz2 (14TB of total usable space) and am using Plex to play movies to my other devices. Currently I've not been able to set up remote access from other networks (I think this is a router issue), but everything else has been pretty great!

I am not the best at this stuff, but I think I did ok, or at least ignorance is bliss.

While I won't speak to the legality of ripping DVDs, storing large quantities of video on her Google drive seems like it could cause problems. If she decides to set up access to her Google drive at home on a different computer, it'll want to sync all of it. (There are ways to prevent it from syncing everything at all times, but that could easily get screwed up).
Why not store whatever content on one of these? It'll be subject to less problems (other than the ability to get lost), and won't eat up any storage space on the local machine or network bandwidth. And it can easily be used on another computer without someone having to log into her Google account.

I was looking into USB 3.0 flash drives, the speeds are a bit better than microSD and the prices are pretty good, too.

The 128GB Sandisk Ultra Fit costs $35.39 and it'd fit nice and snug in the back of the Shield TV. Then there's the 128GB Lexar Jumpdrive P20 for $59.95 and pushes 350+ MB/s sequential reads. The biggest knock on it is that it's uncomfortable to slide open and retract, which shouldn't be a problem if I'm plugging it into the Shield TV and then leaving it alone.

u/mrkhiggz · 1 pointr/chromeos

I've owned 2 Chromebooks, the Samsung series 3 and the Dell Chromebook 13. Both have SD card slots but I have yet to use it on either. In my experience SD cards are slow and in the case of the Samsung, the memory card didn't go in all the way so it was awkward to leave it in. If in needed extra storage on my chromebook I would get a USB 3.0 such as this one

ChromeOS does have a built-in media player but it isn't the best in my opinion.

As for what model of Acer 14 to get. Definitely get the 4GB model with the better screen. It will preform better and look better doing it.

u/ProtestTheTeemo · 1 pointr/theNvidiaShield

I’ve ordered the new 16g shield and was planning of using one of these with it, due to its small form factor so my shield won’t look like it has a tail:

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SDCZ43-128G-GAM46-Newest-Version/dp/B01BGTG2A0/ref=sr_1_8?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1483727081&sr=1-8&keywords=thumb+drive

Is there any reason why I wouldn’t want this one, as opposed to the one you are using? I notice the speeds are different, but will the slower speed be noticeable that much?

Though any drive would work, Nvidia recommends this drive. At $28, it's also cheaper than the one you linked.

Order a 128gb SD card to go with it

I just ordered one it should be here tomorrow I'll let you know how it works out

But for the price it's the best one out there plus it's small.

Has a 150mbps wright speed pretty good and is USB 3.0

Buy the one for $ 170 with only remote... From Amazon or Best buy if they have it for $170

If you want the controller I would order the $199 witch includes the controller because if you order the controller septate you might end up paying all together at 60$ for the controller. Better to bungle ..
