I had a friend who had a large scar and she used silicone sheets to soften the tissue, I don't know if this is the exact brand.
Oh quit it, my face is covered in acne scars and I can still get dates. I do recommend seeing a dermatologist or plastic surgeon just to consult. And if it becomes hypertropic (ie raised scar) use these as soon as it heals for a few weeks:
