SO. you're talking in terms of pricing for this whole setup (not including the little desk accessories or chromebook) - $509 And that's if it's all brand new. The monitor could be a hand me down.

So that's $509 for a setup that will last this kid at least to the end of high school IF not longer. The only thing that'd need to be upgraded at any point is the chromebook and bing bang boom you're good to go.

I'd say that's pretty reasonable. I mean a kid having a desk is a great way to instill a good work ethic. Having a workplace makes it all that much easier to get work done.
