Ok, so this is a bit over your budget......But I have these and LOVE them!! They are REALLY good quality and have the adjustable bass control on the side. Basically they're EDM dream headphones, lol. At least in my opinion!
Yeah, they're not like the tiny earbuds, but I wear these at the gym and actually prefer it because I'm always finding myself pushing the damn little earbuds back into my ears, so with these, they at least stay on my head!
Ever thought about these? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013TLYRC8/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
built-in amps options
other mentions (didn't try them, but was rec)
some other decent options that work better with an amp
overall i recommend qc35, clear sound, wireless and nice noise cancelling option.

>Also came across earstudio es100 could be the "fine balance"
seems like a really good option, decent price.
Why would this be on the wall of fame over Sennheiser's TOTL closed offering, the HD630VB? Solely because of price? You can get a used HD630VB for under $200.
