The only way I've been able to do this is with a PIP injector box, which takes two HDMI sources and merges them before sending to your TV. Obviously, this only works with external sources. You can't mix it with an onboard streaming app (like Roku built into a TCL TV).
The model I bought has no remote, making it even more frustrating to use. But I believe they make a model with a remote, for alot more $$.
