She makes it so easy to know what you're going to get out of a strip of fabric. The ruler has 2 sides - one is for the body of the geese and the other is for the wings. The lines / markings on the ruler tell you what size your finished goose will be based on the size of the strip you use. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this ruler and can't promote it enough. Very little waste and SO super easy!
One of my few specialty ruler purchased that I've made and I've used SEVERAL times is my EZ Stars and Geese ruler. It makes flying geese SO easy. You cut the units from strips and it does the math for you depending on what size finished goose unit you need.
