Also I found this (sorry for link )

I was going to hook this up to a small dehumidifier and heater to keep the environment right and means I can monitor it without having to open everything up

Not sure about the thermostats but how about something like creating a wifi smart plug using a sonoff TH10 or TH16 that the fans can plug in to?They come in a nice box and my TH16 came with a plug-in temp sensor. You can flash the sonoffs with Tasmota and use MQTT to control and poll for temp data in homeassistant.

Edit: to add, the TH16 is a 16 amp relay, make sure that’s rated high enough for your A/C.

Another edit: I use a simple Honeywell WiFi thermostat for heat that I connected to homeassistant and use the temp sensors around the house to adjust fans, turn off/on heat and a IR blaster to control my A/C that uses a remote.

This is what I use: Sonoff TH16 https://www.amazon.ca/Sonoff-TH16-Temperature-Humidity-Monitoring/dp/B06XTNSJ46?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_17588545011

I have it wired into a 110v heater. The APP that it comes with works very reliably and has a few modes. I just tell it to come on at 19c and off at 21c and it happily cycles along. (Even has a history so you can see what it has been up to).

Just be sure to also purchase the temp sensor. (It plug's into the side) You can also order direct from the company https://sonoff.itead.cc/en/ They have all sorts of gadgets and the price is VERY cheap.

I have another two at a remote location and they also just chug along. Those two, are not hooked up to anything, I just check them now and then.

I have a Wink hub as well and I'm sorry to report it does not yet work in there. However, IFTTT support is there. . (sorta, I just glanced right now)
