Oh yeah, my periods... well, I'm barely functional the first 2 days. I would definitely suggest taking an iron supplement, it helps.

If you can, you should probably discuss with a doctor, but there are definitely steps you can take on your own to help get your hormones back in check. The article I linked + my own routine should help.

I don't use the full recommended dosage because too much progesterone can backfire badly, but that's just me.
