This is the one I use, you can order it directly from Amazon. I got mine from Fred Meyer but you can likely find it at any local natural foods store.
We use this one (neither me or partner has throid issues, and we don't use this consistently just when we get a cut). Still, I don't have any special medical expertise, so if you're concerned about the risks then perhaps something else more conventionally used to help cuts heal quickly would still be a nice gift!
