Badge reel
3 Card Holder
I use my own Lanyard rather the one that came with the badge holder. I just clip the reel to my Lanyard and put the badge holder on the reel.

I got myself one of these to attach to my lanyard! It has the front clear slot, and two slots in the back. I put my card & license in the back slots, ap in the front. :)

I know this isn't a UK link, but maybe something like these ID holders? It's what I've been considering. You could use it with or without the lanyard, or use it like a keychain.
