I HIGHLY recommend this book. Its a collection of essays/stories from people involved with the program. Not just pilots and RSOs, but you get stuff from mechanics, crew chiefs, designers, etc. It gives you a nice behind the scenes look at the plane. Really (really) good book.

Books: SR71 BlackBird is enjoyable, There I was Flat on my back as well. ILAFFT to hopefully learn from others mistakes
