Anyone out there interested in Stalingrad should read Antony Beevors book of the same name. As for love stories in Stalingrad LOL! Some soldiers did have relations with local women there, but it was of a more brief, commercial nature...

If you are looking for something about WWII and want to keep it as simple as possible I recommend Antony Beevors new book called The second world war.
