If you're willing to spend $8 and have an Amazon account, I may have something you will like. I made a post about it recently giving some of my opinions as well as the synopsis and link to it here.
I'll also link you to the first 2 boxsets, which individually cost $4, however I highly recommend you try them out before judging the series as the initial episodes contained in them give a lot of information on where the series is going and a good idea of what to expect from it.
