You know how much information there is out there on the modern day 75th Ranger Regiment and you come in here asking uneducated questions? Go read a book, come back, and ask smarter questions. Rangers don't get by on letting other people do the work for them.
You talk about time in the 75th "boosting" your chances of going to Ranger School, like Ranger School is the goal. Ranger School is a 9 week leadership course that 75th Ranger Regiment guys must complete in order to hold a leadership position. It is, in the grand scheme, a very minor part of being a Ranger.
