I couldn't get mine to stabilize the waveform above 5MHz. I found the synthetic clock on my unit could skip forward or backward equal to unity. You can either bung together your own circuit with a 5th generation cut quartz module or simply pick up an external RTC and attach it to your GPIO pins like this one.

Otherwise, you can clock off the output if you slice your optocouplers and introduce a prismatic retroreflector for signaling. I like the RCN-15-11.3 for this purpose.
