I don't know about those cases, but I have this one and I love it!

I recommend the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle. I've had mine for more than a year and it and my 6 Plus have survived a shitload of abuse, including countless (it must be in the hundreds) drops onto concrete and asphalt from waist and head height as well as one onto tile from two floors up (I'm amazed).

The dark material on the outside is TPU rather than the much softer rubber Otterboxes use and it provides great bounce as well as resistance to cutting and abrasion. It covers all angles and the lip around the screen is sufficient that an additional dozen face-down drops haven't harmed my phone.

Downsides? I decided to cut the covers for the charging and headphone ports off so I could get cables into them more easily - they're very fiddly if you're trying to plug headphones in one-handed. There's no guarantee of waterproofing like the LifeProof case. It feels very hard/rigid in the hand once your phone is inside, which may or may not be to your liking.

Anyway, I can't recommend it enough. The buttons are well-protected and easy to use but don't activate accidentally in a pocket full of keys and debris. It's also much slimmer than the Otterboxes you mentioned.

Edit: proof I have not been gentle

I personally like this one and it does have decent protection. I also can't stress enough how good it feels in your hand. The materials they used give it a nice texture and it's hard to notice any scuffs on it.

SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle. Gives the phone a lot more grip, is relatively thin (for Otterbox-style cases), and is pretty sturdy. Probably not quite what you're looking for, though.

I am using the Unicorn Beetle and I have it since almost two years now. I got it with my iPhone 6+ and then took it over for my 6S+.

I must say it is a really good case.

It has:

  • Built-in screen protector

  • good quality rubber (not the sticky one), you can put it in your pocket and out of it just fine

  • dust-protection flaps which show no sign of damage (after 2 years!)

  • it feels good in hand

the only thing is that it makes the phone bigger because it itsn't a small case.

But yes, I would recommend it.

Ninja-Edit: Oh, and it doesn't block off your signal like many others do.
