Budget: $20-35

Source: PC / iPhone (for next couple of years at least)

Isolation: Some is preferred, but not necessarily a huge priority. I will be using them in public though, and (hopefully) fairly frequently exercising with them, so I wouldn't like wire noise.

Preferred type: IEMs / earbuds

Tonal balance: By my budget, you can probably tell I'm not a huge audiophile, so I'd prefer an overall balanced experience.

Past headphones: Apple Earpods, BlackNeon Metallic In-line Penguin earbuds: I preferred the Apple fit but I did like the isolation of the BlackNeon buds.

Preferred music: hip-hop, rock; but like I said, not a huge audiophile.

What I'm looking for: in order, comfort, sound quality, ease of use while doing exercise (low wire noise). Edit: oh I would really love a good remote for iPhone, since I haven't found a remote even close to the included EarPod one

I was looking at the Symphonized NRG 3.0 earbuds
on Amazon, which seem great in design and quality, but lack in comfort and have higher wire noise.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading all this, and thanks in advance for your suggestions!

How much do you want to spend?

Under $20 - Easy KZ ZST/KZ ZST/KZ ATE or Symphonized If you regularly check Amazon, you can find the Symphonized on discount for about $15.

~$60 (at least that is what I paid) TFZ Exclusive 5 and Nuforce X Massdrop EDC

Symphonized are warm. KZ are a decent cheap IEM with a replaceable cable. TFZ Exclusive 5 has good bass and a bit bright. You really notice the subtle notes. Nuforce EDC have really good Bass, though the highs are not as pronounced as TFZ. The Nuforce greatest strength is that it is the most comfortable in-ear headphones I have ever worn. So comfortable, that I forget I have them on.
