The motor is probably gone, I wouldn’t use that old esc either I bet it’s one of the open contacts with a servo driven selector type. Those things were dangerous then and still are now lol. And the fm radio gear probably still works too but I would update that as well just because the old fm stuff especially for ground applications get a lot more interference than the fm air radios do. Nice looking!! The only upgrade I made to mine was the sport tuned motor.

I picked up atamiya rs540 running at 7.4v.

I have the stock spur gear installed.

I’m not certain what pinion gear I should install. The one I bought doesn’t fit, the teeth are to small, I just used 18t thinking it would fit.
