My favorite part of being in LA is the weather. I lived in the Northern Midwest my whole life (Wisconsin, Michigan, Chicago), so it's nice to complain about 60 degree weather.
Mr.X is only on one small box, as am I. Though, I probably need more boxes, because Blizzard insists on pairing me with casters who are all over 6'3" and I'm a mere 5'8". Reinforce is tall, but such a sweet guy that it isn't intimidating. I've been short my whole life, so it isn't anything new to me for someone to tower over me.
I listen to heavier music, so generally whatever I'm digging on my spotify that day. Of course, a classic is my namesake hexagram - Deftones.
My pre-cast ritual is generally reading outloud for at least ten minutes. Not only does it warm up my vocals, but it gets my vocabulary going and my mind working. I'm currently reading The Best American Non-Required Reading which is a collection of essays on a myriad of topics.
