Well, suddenly my The Complete Far Side doesn't seem as complete.

They aren't cheap, but they're worth it

I'd recommend the (slightly) cheaper paperback versions if they are for kids since kids are good at destroying good things you love.

The Complete Far Side is being released in about ten days. So excited to place this on the shelf (right next to the Complete Calvin and Hobbs).

I have several of the paperback large-print (vol1, vol2...) editions, but I recently replaced them with the Complete Collection from Costco for about half of face value, which I considered to be a good deal.

I had several of those off-the-wall calendars when I was a kid and I kept all the pages because I have a very problematic 'collecting' habit (not so much hoarding useless stuff, but collecting things of interest like this), and I spent many many hours as a child trying to organize and sort those saved calendar pages, and trying to cross-reference the farside books so I could keep only the pages that had comics I didn't already have in the books. That was 20-some years ago, and quite frankly I never finished that job, but the complete collection brought some joy to me to buy even if I may never crack it open and regularly read the things

I highly recommend The Complete Far Side. It's a bit pricey but holy crap. I thought I was a Far Side connoisseur and then I got it. I'd say at least half of the cartoons I'd never seen.

Mine cost me around $150 Canadian, I think. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. Came in a really nice cow-print box too.

This is the same product if you have a way of ordering online. Looks a bit cheaper here too.

Link is to imgur as neither Larson nor Andrews/McMeel have a dedicated archive to the Far Side online. I'd like to direct you to publisher's online store and amazon's page selling the complete Far Side.
