Some good ideas here.

I'm not sure about news. Everyone can post news from whatever news site you find as long as it's relevant.

As far as the rest goes:

>posts dedicated to the Saint(s) whose feast day it is

The Lives of the Saints: Complete Edition has a saint for each day. I could post the story every so often. For every day we would have to have some sort of bot though.

>a day specifically set aside for reflecting on scripture

We could pick a day of the week and make a sticky thread where people could participate. We would have to come up with some sort of structure though. Maybe, each participating person dedicates 5 - 10 minutes going through scripture and posts what they read and what their thoughts were.

>a book club

Another good idea. From creating /r/VideoSancto I've gotten a lot of good book reviews from listening to those priests. I suppose we could either have a weekly thread, or just regularly post a book of the week thread.

>a banner and other graphical upgrades

This is something we will get to eventually. If you have any suggestions feel free to offer them.

>a group and/or day set aside for Latin study

I guess what we could do with this is have a dedicated thread weekly or bi-weekly. I have some Latin text books that I could copy a few pages from and post them. (using Camscanner or similar app, or just a scanner).
