There's actually two good dramatizations of LOTR.
One was done by a group under the "Minds Eye" label, with mostly American actors:

They're both great and done in different ways. Minds Eye has Bombadil, which I like. BBC has a more chronological version, with some details about Gollum's interrogation by Sauron.
