This is not how the economy works at all. The economy is not whimsically changed by the political party in control of the House.
There's plenty of research and analysis on the Stimulus and other efforts and how it led to our recovery (where other countries had multiple recessions during that time). I'm not sure why you think that argument would work in a subreddit with so many federal/political professionals.
