This is really interesting:

No one seems enthusiastic about Romney, which has been his trouble from the beginning. It's unlikely Romney will attract enough Latino votes to make up the difference. It's highly unlikely he'll get enough black votes. So he's falling back on Reagan-era dog-whistle racism in order to motivate whites to go to the polls.
