I haven't read that yet, but will definitely put it on my list of books to read.
I'm currently reading "The Sun of Wisdom" by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso. It's a modern explanation of the famous "The Fundamental wisdom of the Middle Way" by Nagarjuna.

I really wish I could point you towards a concise, succinct source but I don't know of any. I think the quickest way to get a grip on what I said, and indeed the real crux of Buddhism is to read 'The Sun of Wisdom'

This is like dropping insane amounts of acid on an intellectual rather than experiential level. It just tears everything apart. And by everything I mean everything. On the most fundamental level. For example movement is an illusion.
From here the notion of every day life becomes more preposterous than any idea of reincarnation.
Don't forget to meditate too though (I know I do...)
