Amd Ryzens are pretty nice at the moment and cheap. Ryzen 1600 is a good choice. I recommend a SSD disk and a second one HDD so you have a faster system and also an storage disk. Graphic card will be the hardest. Maybe a cheap 1050 2 gb will do.

The total is around 700. You may need to add some more things put this is enough for full functionallity. Also, I wouldnt buy the parts on amazon, but this way you can search them in a good electronics shop from your country which adds the assembly. Standards can be changed easily, that depends on what you preffer.

The general rule is you want to calculate your power draw then add 30%. Someone else said a 400W power supply and I agree with that, but I also see value in buying something like this https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Continuous-Active-Supply-PS-SPD-0600NPCWUS-W/dp/B014W3EMAO/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1521351501&sr=1-4&keywords=600w+power+supply#customerReviews
and then you can use it in your next computer build whenever you decide that is.

u/football13tb · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

The GPU is holding back every one of those builds entirely. The build with the GTX 1050 and Ryzen 1300x could be upgraded all the way up to a gtx 1070/1080 if you wanted and it would preform great.

Edit: You would also need a power supply if you plan to upgrade to a 1070 or higher. Minimum of 500 watts (can buy one for $30-$40)

This is a pretty good Amazon build, and can handle medium-high AAA titles and can demolish Minecraft, even at ultra resolutions.

AND IT'S UNDER $500!!!

Why you should use this build...

  1. Why use iGPUs when you can fit a decent discrete GPU that can run AAA at high details inside the budget?
  2. 8GB is starting to be the minimum requirements for a decent PC, let's go with 16GB!
  3. A build with a SSD that is almost 20% faster than base Inland, Kingston, Crucial, and Adata models.
  4. Support for Four-Channel memory and OC...

Yeah, buying RTX 2060 will be a great choice since i can upgrade my monitor to 1440p. However, will it work with this PSU ?

u/Jgrigg17 · 1 pointr/buildapc

I bought this power supply. I'm wondering if I made a mistake. I'd prefer to find something modular and I have no idea if bronze, silver, or gold ratings even matter.

Recommended 500w PSU Price/Perfomance?

I'm planning on building a PC, and after a wattage consumption check I'll be needing at least a 500w PSU, with an PCIe connector 6+2 pins and a 4+4 connector for the CPU. Recently I was thinking on this one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014W3EMAO/?coliid=I3VQXAFPFKA5VQ&colid=2ZT38WJ4XOP88&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1) but after I read these reviews, I don't think I'll be going for this one. Although, I'm looking for a $40-$50 deal!

I'll be running a R5 1600 (perhaps a 2600) on a B450 mobo (not decided yet) with 16gb of ram. Any advices?

Pretty much the lowest you're gonna go unless you buy used parts is a

  • GTX 1050 2GB

  • Gigabyte Mobo (This is micro ATX, you're gonna have to fork over a little more if you want full ATX)

  • RAM - DDR3 8GB sticks, couldn't find a decent one in a quick search under 50 but I purchased mine for $35

  • PSU DO NOT skimp on the part of your computer that provides power to everything. This thing explodes? So does your computer.

  • here's a micro-atx case, for the motherboard i mentioned

  • and here is your ODD.

    want internet?
  • Here is an internet stick. Otherwise use ethernet with a handy cable.

I knew it was one of their budget units when I bought it, I just got it for a great price... and then had to RMA it for fan grind... and now have to RMA the replacement due to this... This PSU was better than my two BQ PSUs: https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Certified-Continuous-Active-PS-SPD-0600NPCWUS-W/dp/B014W3EMAO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=thermaltake+smart+600w&qid=1566657275&s=gateway&sprefix=thermal+take+sm&sr=8-3
