Just received this one yesterday. Very easy to assemble and doesn’t feel cheap.

I use a small flat-pack desk. It's not great but does the job and doesn't take up too much of my one-bedroom apartment. I've also used a drafting table in the past. They're nice because you can usually adjust the height and they've got a lot of surface area. Quality ones are quite expensive though and the surface area actually tends to be larger than you can use ergonomically. You'll end up not able to reach the opposite edge comfortably because they're designed to be used in a vertical or slanted orientation, which you really can't do while working on figures.

If I had space for it, I'd probably invest in an L-shaped computer workstation and adjust the height by adding furniture risers. They're inexpensive and offer plenty of workspace. Spend more on the chair. A quality chair is really valuable if you're going to spend hours sitting.
