It is my networks card, it doesn't have an external antenna (similar to how our phones don't have external antennas anymore - they are just built in). If you have a networks card that requires an external antenna you can essentially do the same, but with the antenna instead of the networks card there.

Works for me under windows 10. The software does not work, but you can host the ad-hoc with windows10 itself. You need a special driver tho, so it's kind of a hassle.

Using the 1029.0.217.2015 version driver from Realtek Semiconductor Corp. which you can install by simply rightclicking in device manager and find it under the listed devices. Guess that would've worked for the T2U aswell

Get this adapter: TP-Link T4U, it's great!

Maybe there is some software you could have that would make the phone act as a wireless bridge, but that software might need a rooted phone to be able to do so.

I want you to want me.

I recently found that I won't be able to access wired Internet when I return back home. This is certainly going to interfere with Reddit, job searching and video chats with my girlfriend who won't be joining me for a year.

It seems like this item or one like it will be able to remedy that. That's what I would put it towards.

This is the one I got and planned to use temporarily while I got ethernet cable around or a powerlink to plug in my computer, but it works so well I just stick to using it, no lag, spikes, overheating or anything of sorts.
